Job Description On behalf of our Healthcare Client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Project Manager – Cloud Infrastructure to lead multiple complex cloud infrastructure projects within a major technology transformation program. The successful candidate will manage concurrent initiatives, oversee budgets and timelines, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure alignment across related projects. Strong project management expertise, a PMP (or equivalent), and 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale enterprise projects are required. Healthcare IT experience is preferred, while experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments, network architecture and infrastructure, and Epic systems is highly desirable. Responsibilities Oversee the project management life cycle for multiple complex projects, from initiation and planning through to execution and closure Responsible for multiple projects, which will run simultaneously, with varying degrees of complexity and large budgets ($3M+) Take part in a transformative technology program and work with a project team of approximately 5-10 people to deliver Program objectives. Accountable to ensure projects are delivered on budget, within scope, and within the timelines set Collaborating with leaders and other Project Managers to coordinate dependencies across related projects Accountable to ensure alignment of assigned projects within the overall program and alongside other parallel activities. Establish detailed and complex project plans (in the form of schedules, gantt charts, flowcharts, calendars, resource schedules, budgets, other reports, etc.) to ensure awareness and visibility for various project audiences Draw upon your expert level negotiation skills, and conflict resolution strategies, to work with external and internal stakeholders Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders Develop and deliver comprehensive progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication Working with cross-functional teams, this role will be responsible to obtain buy-in and support, to ensure the success of projects Qualifications A PMP designation or a master’s Certificate in Project Management is required Exceptional and proven understanding of formal project management methodologies, documentation, and processes A minimum of 10 years’ experience directly responsible for managing large, complex projects Preference given to candidates with experience in a health care IT environment and/or with experience delivering complex projects which encompass a wide range of technologies Experience with overseeing multiple dependent projects and project staff, and creating comprehensive reporting documents Exemplary communication (both verbal and written), facilitation and presentation skills Ability to effectively influence, interact and collaborate with senior level management, and prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations Excellent time management, problem-solving, negotiating, analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and leadership skills Excellent team collaboration and conflict management skills Creative, self-directed, innovative, results and detail oriented Experience working within Smartsheet Project Management Software is considered an asset Experience working as part of a larger program, coordinating interdependencies across projects is considered an asset Technical knowledge about cloud storage and network architecture is highly desirable (Specifically Microsoft Azure) Technical knowledge of Epic systems infrastructure is considered an asset Technical knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure build is considered an asset Affinity Earn Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
