Job description: We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Underground Mining Project Managers who are ready to take the next step in their leadership journey and join our Canadian operations at Red Chris Mine, British Columbia. The Opportunity As Project Manager, you will play a critical leadership role, taking full accountability for the operational, financial, safety, and environmental performance of the project. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, strengthening client relationships, and delivering outstanding project outcomes while maintaining Barminco's unwavering commitment to safety. What You'll Bring Ideally qualified in Mining Engineering, you will have a proven track record of successfully managing underground contract mining operations and leading teams in complex, high-performing environments. Successful candidates will demonstrate: Extensive knowledge of underground mining methods, equipment, and operational best practices. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to inspire, develop, and manage diverse teams. Sound commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. Experience managing underground mining contracts and delivering against key business objectives. Strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills. A solid understanding of contractual obligations and commercial agreements. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. A visible commitment to safety leadership and fostering a positive safety culture. All applicants must have the following to satisfy visa requirements: Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated underground industry experience. Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 5 years managing and executing high productivity underground Mining Contracts Clear Federal Police clearance Why Barminco?
