CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Generation and Energy Management Project Manager to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in St. Catharines, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity to manage multidisciplinary projects focused on power and thermal generation solutions—including cogeneration, combined-cycle systems, boilers, chillers, renewable energy, district energy, and electric/gas interconnection projects—while helping clients identify practical strategies that support sustainable energy solutions and optimize facility performance. What You'll Do: Lead proposal development and create clear scopes, schedules, and budgets in coordination with technical teams Serve as the primary client partner, addressing needs proactively and ensuring strong communication throughout each project Develop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and direct task coordination across multidisciplinary project teams Manage project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and quality controls to keep work on track and aligned with contract requirements Oversee project financials—including budgets, forecasts, revenue, and cash flow—maintaining strong financial performance Direct contract administration, subcontractor coordination, and critical project documentation Lead regular project meetings and provide timely progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders Support marketing efforts, help identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of CHA’s Generation & Energy Management portfolio What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or related field required Minimum of 9 years of industry experience, including 6 years of project management experience required Proven ability to manage client relationships and interpret client contract requirements Demonstrated experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents required Experience managing project accounting processes—including forecasting, budgeting, revenue, and cash flow—required Experience using Microsoft Office Suite required; familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision preferred Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment Ability to solve problems independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills with the ability to adapt style for various audiences Ability to travel as needed required Consulting industry experience highly preferred PMP certification, P. Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 CAD Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
