Job Overview In this role, you will engage in consulting, education, mentoring and coaching support for program teams to further Agile practices, mindset and ways of working within a complex and matrixed organizational structure. Daily Responsibilities Hands-on coaching of teams to improve Agile maturity, collaboration, and delivery. Hands-on experience implementing Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile practices. Running daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions. Guiding teams in self-organization and cross-functionality. Mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members to excel in their roles. Designing and facilitating Agile workshops, training sessions, and boot camps. Guiding teams and stakeholders to make informed, consensus-driven decisions. Collaborating with stakeholders to align Agile practices with business goals. Aligning team-level Agile practices with program and portfolio-level objectives. Supporting the team in navigating work across both Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies. Reinforcing ways of working and operating models with broader product teams, operations, and Go-to-Market teams. Project Description The role will support transformation initiatives focused on improving Agile ways of working, team maturity, collaboration, and delivery across complex programs. Essential Program/Technology/Software Knowledge The selected candidate will be expected to have hands-on knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile practices. The candidate will use this knowledge to coach teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, improve delivery practices, and support Agile transformation initiatives. Must-Have Skills, Experience, Education and Qualifications Proven experience as an Agile Coach or similar role in software development. Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to guide, influence, and inspire others in the adoption of Agile practices. Effective problem-solving skills to identify, analyze and rectify any hurdles or issues impeding the Agile implementation. Strong leadership and team building skills to foster a collaborative and high-performing Agile environment. Experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games. Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement. Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Certified Agile Coach (CAC). Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. Ability to bridge both Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies. Experience as a Product Owner and/or as part of an Agile product development and delivery team. Soft Skills Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation and coaching skills. Ability to adapt quickly and manage change effectively in diverse environments, utilizing change management skills. Excellent coaching skills to mentor individuals and teams in Agile principles and practices and support their professional growth. Language Requirements English – high level of proficiency, both written and verbal. The expected base salary range for this position is $89 – $103 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements.
