Résumé du poste

Job DetailsJob Location: Vancouver - VANCOUVER, BC V6E 4A2Are you a decisive project leader who takes ownership, drives clarity, and moves complex infrastructure projects forward? Corix is looking for a decisive, solutions-oriented Project Manager (Project Delivery) to lead district energy and utility infrastructure projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover — someone who takes ownership, drives clarity, and moves complex projects forward even when information is incomplete. You'll play a key role in advancing Corix's low-carbon district energy portfolio across British Columbia and North America, including some of the region's most innovative systems such as Richmond City Centre, UBC Westbrook Place, SFU UniverCity, Victoria's Dockside Green, and beyond. Corix is proud to offer a flexible working environment. We embrace hybrid work, with in-office collaboration guided by the needs of the role, opportunities for development, and what best supports the team. What You Bring You lead rather than just manage — comfortable taking ownership, making informed calls with incomplete information, and driving outcomes without relying solely on formal authority. You navigate competing technical, commercial, operational, and regulatory priorities, and use strong communication and credibility to build trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders. You identify problems and propose solutions proactively rather than waiting for direction, and bring structure and clarity to fast-moving, ambiguous project environments. What You'll Do Own assigned capital projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. Make timely, well-reasoned decisions to maintain momentum and manage risk throughout delivery. Take initiative and ownership in identifying challenges, developing practical solutions, and advancing work independently with confidence in your recommendations and decision-making. Lead and influence diverse stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, developers, municipalities, operations teams, and senior leaders, to build alignment, resolve issues, and achieve practical, timely outcomes. Manage project budgets, forecasts, contracts, schedules, change orders, progress claims, and reporting with a high level of accountability. Review technical deliverables and construction progress to ensure quality, constructability, and compliance with project requirements. Anticipate and resolve risks and roadblocks before they impact cost, schedule, quality, or safety, with strong judgment in balancing cost, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholder expectations. Support and mentor Project Coordinators and Junior Project Managers. QualificationsExperience & Education 5+ years of related experience in engineering, project management, and construction. Mechanical, Civil, Process/Chemical, or Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent engineering/construction qualification. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible to join a professional organization (e.g., EGBC). Preference given to candidates with construction management and site supervision experience, plus building systems engineering experience (HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, etc.). PMP certification and LEED qualifications are assets. Working Conditions Hybrid work arrangement Regular visits to construction sites are required. The starting salary range for this position is CAD $95,000-$115,000 annually, with the final salary determined by the successful candidate's skills, experience, and anticipated impact within the role.
