Project Director - Mining & Metals - EPCM - Vancouver Are you a Senior Project Director with EPC/EPCM experience in the mining industry? Have you delivered projects at values over $1billion? Do you have experience in cold weather environments? CSG Talent is partnering with a leading international engineering and project delivery organisation to recruit an experienced Project Director for a major mining EPCM project in Vancouver. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished project professional who has successfully delivered large, complex mining projects through the execution phase. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and assume overall responsibility for the project's technical, commercial, financial and operational performance. Key responsibilities Leading large cross‐functional internal and external project teams and potentially subcontractors or other PMs. Overseeing, motivating, and monitoring the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps. Creating strong collaborative team environment by establishing common vision, setting clear expectations and accountability Demonstrating capability of overseeing large‐scale projects with responsibility for the full performance of the project (planning, directing, supervising and controlling all technical, fiscal and administrative functions). Manages execution, coordination, and implements regular reviews/controls to track project progress. Interprets and understands all of the key elements of the project schedule to identify adverse trends and take correction action. Applies forward planning with schedule to resource the project appropriately. Experience required Extensive senior level project experience with a mining EPC/EPCM. Delivered on multiple projects at values of over $1billion. Cold weather experience.
