Your main responsibilities Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules and guidelines and actively participate in all aspects of the health and safety program; Manage hazardous materials and indoor environmental quality projects from proposal and planning stages through to completion; Lead and conduct hazardous materials assessments, including asbestos, lead, mould, mercury, PCBs, silica, and other designated substances investigations; Plan, coordinate, and oversee field programs, including inspections, sampling, monitoring activities, and demolition or renovation-related environmental oversight; Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, subcontractors, deliverables, and client communications to ensure successful project delivery; Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, proposals, specifications, work plans, abatement tender documents, and project close-out reports; Support hazardous materials abatement projects through contractor oversight, site inspections, air monitoring, clearance testing, and documentation review; Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, laboratories, and internal multidisciplinary teams; Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality review support to junior and intermediate staff; Support business development activities through proposal preparation, client relationship management, networking, and identification of new project opportunities. What makes you unique Diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering Technology, Building Science, Industrial Hygiene, Applied Science, or a related discipline; Minimum 7–10 years of experience in hazardous materials, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, building science, or environmental consulting; Demonstrated experience managing hazardous materials and indoor environmental quality projects, including budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client relationships; Strong technical knowledge of asbestos, lead, mould, silica, mercury, PCBs, and other designated or hazardous substances; Experience completing hazardous materials assessments, abatement monitoring, contractor oversight, air sampling, and clearance inspections; Thorough understanding of applicable provincial and federal regulations, standards, and guidelines related to hazardous materials, occupational health and safety, and environmental consulting; Proven experience preparing and reviewing technical reports, proposals, specifications, work plans, tender documents, and regulatory submissions; Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients, contractors, and project teams; Valid driver's licence with access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Atlantic Canada as required; Demonstrated commitment to health and safety, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and site access requirements. Ce que vous ferez

The Project Manager will coordinate and manage various environmental consulting projects, ensuring adherence to health and safety rules. Responsibilities include project tracking, budget management, and generating technical documentation.

Exigences

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree or applicable diploma and a minimum of 10 years of experience in indoor air quality or hazardous materials consulting. A solid understanding of regulatory requirements and possession of a valid driver's license are also required.
