About The Role Cougar Contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support delivery of commercial tenant improvement projects around the Calgary area. You will oversee management oversight of all phases of projects, including employees, subcontractors, materials and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding safely and with high quality standards. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day planning and management of multiple commercial TI projects Communicate with owners, consultants and sub trades, deliver a high level of customer service to clients Support management of on-site personnel including Superintendents, Foremen and subcontractors Prepare project set-up, schedules, and cost controls Lead regular site meetings with sub-contractors, architects and consultants Work with superintendents to ensure projects adhere to safety and quality standards Prepare progress invoices/sub trade invoices; change orders to Owner and Sub trades Oversee project close out Assist with development of project coordinators and site crews Skills And Requirements Experience as a Project Manager or Coordinator on commercial TI projects Experience in full gut and rebuild office projects, including long term, and multi floor Desire to work directly with the senior leadership team and support the continuing growth of the company on a long-term basis Proven ability to lead dynamic teams on multiple projects Strong organizational and coordination skills Ability to find quick solutions and implement them proactively in dealing with problems Final Thoughts We believe in diversity of thought and experience.
