IT Project Manager

These projects will typically be implementation of new software, upgrade of existing software, onboarding of new entities because of M&A activity and rolling out infrastructure solutions. Enforce project adherence to internal quality standards, processes, tools, and documentation Proactively define and implement standards where required Actively support business analysis activities to ensure projects and technical solutions meet business objectives Develop schedules, identify and maintain critical path, critical chain, key milestones and quantify slack Develop and manage detailed work plans (often with many interrelated workstreams), project schedules, budget estimates and resource plans in conjunction with project team members and other involved business and IT teams Work with the Director, ERP Systems to define and build the governance structure for projects Plan and manage project resources Define and track project milestones and budget while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated project plan Own Risk and Decision Management, being the single point of contact for all project related issues, risks and decisions. Coordinate the development and approval of corrective action and/or contingency plans. Track and manage project issues through to successful resolutions. Manage stakeholders to ensure expectations are clearly defined and met. Develop, track, and manage project budgets and schedules Lead and enable cross-functional teams to deliver on their assigned work, coach, and mentor and manage project team Own the Project Change Management (pCAB) process – vetting requests, improvements to the process, ensuring all relevant information is provided prior to our Project Change Advisory Board (pCAB) meetings and approving changes What We Are Seeking Minimum of five (5) years' related experience in IT project management Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary technology projects Prior experience managing mid-scale implementations and ongoing enhancement initiatives for ERP, HRIS, Time & Attendance, Payroll, or similar enterprise systems Experience in work management tools (such as JIRA), content management tools (such as Confluence), project management and time tracking tools Strong knowledge of/experience in Agile practices (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) Experience applying PM lifecycle to SDLC processes Experience with multiple, industry standard, structured, and agile methodologies Ability to understand complex architectural, networking and software issues Prior experience in IT business analysis an asset Prior experience in IT service delivery an asset Prior experience in Agile and ITIL an asset PMP or similar certification an asset \n \n $100,000 - $130,000 a year \n #LI-AD1 Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in IT project management with a proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary technology projects. Proficiency in work management tools, Agile methodologies, and experience with enterprise systems like ERP or HRIS is required.
