Project Director – Ground-Up ICI Construction Location: Mississauga, ON Compensation: $170,000–$222,000 + bonus + benefits + RRSP A leading General Contractor in the GTA is seeking a seasoned Project Director to provide strategic leadership across large-scale, ground-up Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) projects. This role is focused on oversight, accountability, and delivery excellence—guiding multiple project teams, driving performance, and ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and on budget. Key Responsibilities Provide executive-level leadership across multiple ground-up ICI projects Mentor and lead Project Managers, Site Teams, and Construction Managers Own project financials, schedules, risk mitigation, and client relationships Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and operational improvements Uphold best-in-class standards for safety, quality, and client satisfaction Ideal Background 12+ years of experience delivering ground-up ICI construction projects Proven leadership experience with a reputable General Contractor Strong financial acumen and executive communication skills Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the GTA market This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with a well-established GC known for delivering complex projects and investing in long-term leadership talent.

The Project Director will provide executive-level leadership across multiple ground-up ICI projects, guiding project teams to ensure successful execution. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, managing project financials, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in ground-up ICI construction projects and proven leadership experience with a reputable General Contractor. Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex projects in the GTA market are essential.
