Senior Project Manager – AI Transformation Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 14 months, plus an optional 22-month extension Security Clearance: Reliability Status Responsibilities Develop and continuously refine an outcome-driven, prioritized, and adaptable AI transformation roadmap. Plan, coordinate, and execute activities supporting AI framework development, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and change management using Agile principles and practices. Support AI adoption across the division through structured change management and workforce enablement. Contribute to the development and continuous enhancement of an AI framework, including the delivery and operating model. Define architecture patterns, reusable AI assets, and playbooks to support consistent and scalable AI delivery. Facilitate collaboration and alignment among executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners. Coordinate and facilitate leadership committees, working groups, and stakeholder engagement forums. Lead regular demonstration and review sessions to drive alignment, oversight, and progress across the AI transformation. Establish and maintain governance structures, operating models, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks. Identify opportunities to expand and scale successful AI capabilities across the organization. Capture lessons learned and recommend continuous improvements to transformation approaches, processes, and delivery practices. Deliver related activities and deliverables as required. Qualifications Must be based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada. 8+ years of experience leading large-scale enterprise projects, programs, or transformation initiatives. 3+ years of experience supporting the delivery of AI transformation, digital modernization, innovation, or emerging technology initiatives within large organizations. Experience delivering project or transformation outcomes in complex, fast-paced, Agile-structured environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Experience establishing and maintaining governance structures, operating models, performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and program oversight processes. Experience supporting organizational change management and technology transformation initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and workforce enablement. Demonstrated knowledge of AI technologies, AI governance considerations, and AI adoption strategies. Experience engaging and collaborating with senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams, including facilitating technical demonstrations, workshops, steering committees, and decision-making forums. AI, Cloud, or Digital Transformation certifications from recognized institutions or technology vendors. Must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status. University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Artificial Intelligence.
