Required Qualifications & Skills: 10+ Years of Project Management experience with 5+ years in US Healthcare Payer IT Extensive experience in Project Management, spanning both Waterfall and Agile methodologies Strong understanding of the project delivery lifecycle, including intake, governance, planning, execution, and delivery In-depth understanding of the BCBSRI ecosystem, including: Technical architecture and integration landscape Functional domains and business processes Organizational structure, decision-making models, and governance forums Proven business acumen with the ability to navigate complex, politically sensitive environments Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high volume of small enhancements concurrently Experience managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and expectations Creative, solution-oriented thinker with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement Recent technical background, including exposure to data platforms, APIs, and modern system integrations Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, inspire, and align diverse teams toward common outcomes Excellent negotiation, influencing, and consensus‑building skills Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members, promoting delivery excellence and accountability Key Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end delivery of RSS enhancements, from intake and prioritization through resourcing, execution, and release Manage monthly demand planning, ensuring optimal capacity utilization and alignment to business priorities Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across multiple parallel initiatives Serve as the primary point of coordination between Business stakeholders, Development, and QA teams Act as a central priority and dependency manager, balancing scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations Provide leadership through clear communication, consistent status reporting, and timely escalation Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring accountability and alignment Identify and remove delivery blockers to enable efficient and predictable execution Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies in collaboration with key stakeholders Provide oversight and delivery assurance for critical initiatives and high-visibility requests Drive operational excellence through proactive planning, dynamic scaling, and disciplined execution
