The Assistant Project Manager supports operational projects including store openings, renovations, and closures by managing schedules, staffing, and corporate standards. Job Summary: Reporting to the OPS Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the operational projects related to new store openings, renovations, relocations, and closures by applying and improving corporate processes. You will be required to frequently travel to support different initiatives. Responsibilities: Travel to various locations and countries to ensure corporate processes, standards, and policies are strictly followed throughout the duration of all assigned projects; Provide comprehensive support and guidance to the field team during store openings, renovations, relocations, and closures, including managing schedules, training, staffing requirements, events, and corporate tools; Act as the gatekeeper of corporate standards and policies for assigned projects; Serve as the main operational point of contact for all cross-functional partners for assigned projects; Organize, communicate, and lead calls with cross-functional partners (pre, during, and post project); Coordinate and follow up on tasks, deadlines, and pending actions with cross-functional partners to ensure successful project completion and development in the post-project phase; Manage post-project operations for new store openings, renovations, relocations, and closures; Provide feedback to optimize current processes; Participate in creating dynamic tools to support the business operations; Maintain full accountability for respecting the assigned budget, including travel and expenses; Support other operations initiatives as needed. Qualifications: 3+ plus years of experience in a leadership position in retail and/or project lead; Strong organizational skills with proven ability in documenting processes; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Be able to manage delicate situations and conversations; Thrive in the face of change with a strong sense of urgency and take a proactive lead on decisions; Adept at leading and delivering under pressure; Respect tight deadlines; Challenge the status quo by contributing impactful ideas and solutions; Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration; Proactive mindset with a proven track record of exceeding expected results; Hold a valid passport; Comfortable working flexible schedules and managing last-minute changes; Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec; First aid certification will be considered as an asset.
