Slot Game Project Manager We are looking for a **Slot Game Project Manager** who deeply understands online slots and can translate a client's vision into a game our development and design teams can execute. This is not a traditional project management role. You need to genuinely understand **slot games, mechanics, features, themes, and player experiences**. You will work directly with clients to understand what they want to build, help shape those ideas into a complete game concept, and coordinate our internal teams through development and launch. ## What You'll Do ### Client & Game Discovery * Speak directly with clients to understand the type of slot they want to create. * Ask the right questions to uncover their preferred gameplay, mechanics, volatility, themes, features, art direction, and overall player experience. * Take incomplete or loosely defined ideas and turn them into a clear, actionable game concept. * Advise clients on mechanics and features based on your knowledge of existing slots and the broader slot market. * Present game concepts, features, and development progress clearly to clients. ### Slot Game Expertise You should have a strong understanding of slot mechanics, including: * Wilds and expanding/sticky/multiplier wilds * Scatters * Free spins * Bonus rounds * Multipliers * Cascades / tumbling reels * Ways-to-win and paylines * Hold-and-win mechanics * Collect mechanics * Respins * Progressive features * Buy bonuses * Megaways-style mechanics * Jackpots * Volatility and player experience * RTP and basic slot mathematics concepts You should also have a strong knowledge of **existing slot games and slot history**. If a client says they want something that feels like a combination of several popular games, you should immediately understand the references, what makes those games successful, and which elements can be incorporated into a new concept. ### Translate Vision Into Development * Turn customer conversations into detailed game requirements for developers, artists, animators, mathematicians, and sound designers. * Create and maintain game specifications, feature descriptions, reference materials, and acceptance criteria. * Ensure everyone working on the game understands exactly what is being built and why. * Identify gaps or contradictions in a game concept before development begins. * Work with the team to refine mechanics where needed while preserving the client's original vision. ### Manage Multiple Games * Manage several slot projects simultaneously at different stages of development. * Coordinate developers, designers, artists, mathematicians, QA, and other contributors. * Maintain timelines, milestones, deliverables, and priorities. * Track feedback and ensure client revisions are implemented correctly. * Identify blockers early and push projects toward completion. * Keep both the client and internal team informed throughout development. ## What We're Looking For * **Deep knowledge of online slot games is essential.** * You actively play, study, or have worked with a wide range of slot games and providers. * You can explain why different slot mechanics work and how they affect the player experience. * Strong knowledge of major slot titles, studios, mechanics, trends, and the evolution of slot games. * Excellent communication skills. * Strong ability to listen to a client, understand what they actually want, and translate it into clear instructions. * Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong attention to detail. * Comfortable giving opinions and recommendations rather than simply taking orders. * Able to communicate effectively with both creative and technical teams. * Strong ownership mentality—you are responsible for getting the game from **idea to finished product**. ## Nice to Have * Previous experience at a slot studio, iGaming company, casino supplier, or game development studio. * Experience as a slot producer, game producer, game designer, product manager, or project manager. * Familiarity with slot mathematics, RTP, hit frequency, volatility, and bonus frequency. * Familiarity with major studios such as Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Relax Gaming, Push Gaming, Play'n GO, Evolution/NetEnt, Blueprint, or similar. * Experience working directly with streamers, casino operators, game studios, or other clients. * Experience with Jira, Linear, Notion, ClickUp, or similar project management tools. ## What Success Looks Like A great Slot Game Project Manager should be able to sit down with a client who says: *"I like the bonus system from this game, the wild mechanic from this game, and the pacing of this other game, but I want it built around my own theme."* You should be able to understand exactly what they mean, challenge or improve the concept where appropriate, document the game clearly, explain it to the development team, manage the project through production, and ultimately deliver a game that matches—or improves upon—the client's original vision.
