The Position We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager (HVAC) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee commercial, industrial HVAC projects, managing all phases from design review and estimating through installation, commissioning, and closeout. Role and Responsibilities: * Manage full lifecycle of HVAC projects (planning, execution, and completion) * Review drawings, specifications, and mechanical designs * Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients * Prepare budgets, cost tracking, and project schedules * Procure equipment and materials (RTUs, AHUs, condensers, ductwork, controls, etc.) * Oversee field staff, subcontractors, and site activities * Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and regulations (e.g., gas, TSSA, ESA where applicable) * Conduct site visits, progress meetings, and inspections * Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation * Support commissioning, startup, and deficiency resolution * Maintain client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (air distribution, hydronics, refrigeration, controls) * Experience reading mechanical drawings and specifications * Project management experience in construction or mechanical trades * Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control * Leadership and team coordination skills * Strong communication and problem-solving ability * Familiarity with codes and standards (ASHRAE, local gas codes, etc.) * Proficiency in software (e.g., Excel, project management tools, estimating software) * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (air distribution, hydronics, refrigeration, controls) * Experience reading mechanical drawings and specifications * Project management experience in construction or mechanical trades * Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control * Leadership and team coordination skills * Strong communication and problem-solving ability * Familiarity with codes and standards (ASHRAE, local gas codes, etc.) * Proficiency in software (e.g., Excel, project management tools, estimating software) Compensation & Incentives: * Competitive hourly wage * Health, vision and dental benefits package * Company paid Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) * Four (4) weeks vacation at hire Additional Perks: * Company vehicle * Company supplied cell phone * Steady, year-round work We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those that best meet our qualifications will be contacted.
