Position at P3 Group Canada

A Day in the Life:

  • Full responsibility for project results towards client, frequent and direct interaction with client team from top management for status presentation and recommendations to all levels in the Supply Chain and Quality groups to develop solutions and implement those
  • Deploy, manage, monitor and improve planning processes within the Shipping, Supply Chain and Planning
  • Development and communication of clear objectives to monitor departmental performance
  • Evaluation of current processes and definition of opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure execution and compliance to all identified strategic objectives and share best practice across the Business Unit
  • Deploy Effective Materials Planning strategy and planning policy deployment in SAP
  • Our projects typically have high visibility at our clients, top priorities of management and sometimes up to board level, depending on severity
  • Support of project acquisition for new P3 projects
  • Enhancement and training of P3 concepts, methods and tools for supplier management
  • Measure the performance of the supplier, or their supplier’s by creating KPIs related to delivery and production quality performance
  • Participate in a recurring governance rhythm, by attending weekly meetings, gathering production related data and status and occasionally visiting production sites
  • Promote a positive company image and develop long-term relations with customers

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Supply chain or related field of study
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • At least 2+ years of Aerospace related experience in the development and implementation of programs
  • Exposure to a production environment and understanding on how supply chain and upstream part delivery play a role in delivering a final product
  • Very familiar with industrial and supply chain topics, specifically that relate to the Aerospace industry
  • Enjoys working in a team environment, where group work sessions are frequent. Shows confidence and desire to participate in conversations, suggest ideas, and asks questions
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment, and is willing to work through times of ambiguity by maintaining a high level of communication and trading strategies with team members
  • A thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel specifically in data management and creating macros.
