Résumé du poste

Project Manager – High-Rise Residential Job Title: Project Manager – High-Rise Residential Location: British Columbia Industry: Residential Construction / High-Rise Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 + Bonus + Benefits About the Opportunity Skyline Recruitment is working with an established construction company in British Columbia that is looking to add an experienced High-Rise Project Manager to its team for a major upcoming residential development. The project consists of three residential towers totalling more than 500 units and represents a significant, long-term opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who wants to take ownership of a major high-rise development. This search is open to candidates across Canada who are willing to relocate to British Columbia. The key requirement is genuine high-rise experience. We are looking for Project Managers who have been involved in the delivery of large concrete residential towers from start to finish, rather than candidates whose experience has been limited to individual phases of a high-rise project. For the right candidate currently based elsewhere in Canada, relocation to BC is absolutely on the table. What You’ll Be Responsible For You will take a senior role in the delivery of a large-scale, multi-tower residential development, working closely with the site team, consultants, subcontractors and senior management. Responsibilities will include: Managing the project from pre-construction and mobilization through construction, occupancy and final handover Taking ownership of project budgets, schedules, procurement and overall delivery Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams Managing tendering, contracts, scopes of work and subcontractor negotiations Monitoring project costs, forecasting and financial performance Managing RFIs, change orders, submittals and project documentation Driving the construction schedule and identifying potential delays before they impact delivery Working closely with the Superintendent and site team to maintain alignment between field operations and project management Managing relationships with ownership, consultants and other key stakeholders Ensuring quality, safety and project standards are maintained throughout construction Supporting the successful delivery of all three towers and more than 500 residential units What We’re Looking For The most important requirement for this position is proven high-rise residential construction experience from start to finish. You should have: Significant Project Management experience within high-rise residential construction Proven experience delivering large concrete residential towers Experience taking at least one major high-rise project from the beginning of construction through occupancy and final completion Strong understanding of concrete high-rise construction, sequencing, structure, building envelope, interiors and commissioning Experience managing large project budgets and complex construction schedules Strong subcontractor procurement and management experience Excellent cost control, forecasting and change management skills Ability to work closely with Superintendents and large site teams Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with construction management software such as Procore and MS Project is preferred Construction Management, Engineering or related education is an asset You do not need to currently live in British Columbia. We are specifically interested in speaking with experienced High-Rise Project Managers from across Canada who would consider relocating to BC for the right long-term opportunity. However, candidates must have genuine high-rise experience and must be able to demonstrate that they have taken a significant concrete tower project start to finish. Why This Opportunity This is not a single small tower or a short-term project. You will be joining a major three-tower, 500+ unit residential development that provides significant scale, complexity and long-term project security. For an experienced High-Rise Project Manager considering a move to British Columbia, this represents an opportunity to relocate for a substantial project where your previous tower experience will be genuinely valued. If you have delivered high-rise residential construction from start to finish and are either already based in BC or willing to relocate, Skyline Recruitment would like to hear from you.
