We are hiring a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to be our Home Support Program Manager for our office in Markham. The Home Support Program Manager manages the delivery of quality personal support services to client/patients in a community setting, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards of practice. This role works closely with the Regional Director to develop and maintain Client Service programs and initiatives related to: Service Delivery, Quality, Risk Management, Safety and Performance Management. Job Description Motivates, directs and coaches staff to ensure quality care to all clients Oversees the hiring, training and orientation for Home Support Supervisors Attends and facilitates meetings as required both internal and external Collects and shares key performance indicator (KPIs) results with the team and engages team to conduct continuous improvement activities Identifies trends, process gaps, and variations as part of establishing a continuous quality improvement Communicates serious service quality issues to the Regional Director for intervention and resolution where appropriate Supports the Regional Director with projects and day to day operations as required. Fosters positive labour/management relationships Qualifications Current CNO certificate as Registered Nurse, RN or RPN Recent experience with progressive management responsibilities preferably in community health care Experience managing in a unionized environment Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal staff, and external stakeholders A proven track record of effectively handling complaints and resolving conflicts Additional Information This position is a current vacancy Spectrum Health Care is thrilled to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
