Project / Program Manager – Banking & Financial Services Canada Location Remote Morgan Stanley Contractual Description We are looking for an experienced Project / Program Manager with strong experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain to manage end-to-end delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead projects/programs from initiation through implementation and closure. Define scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, resources, and budgets. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and overall delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business, Technology, QA, Operations, and Vendors. Manage stakeholder communication, governance meetings, and executive status reporting. Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. Drive Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Manage UAT, implementation, production rollout, and post-production activities. Ensure compliance with banking, security, risk, and regulatory requirements. Manage third-party vendors and ensure timely delivery of agreed commitments. Banking Domain Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas: Core Banking / Digital Banking Payments / Cards Lending / Loan Origination KYC / AML / Fraud Risk & Compliance Banking APIs / Integrations Data Migration / Regulatory Reporting Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of overall project/program management experience, preferably within Banking/Financial Services. Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Experience managing large, cross-functional technology programs. Strong stakeholder, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar. Ability to manage multiple workstreams, vendors, risks, and dependencies. Preferred Certifications PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe or relevant banking certifications.
