Lex Senior Developer/Technical Lead
About the role
We are looking for a Lex Senior Developer/Technical Lead. Key Responsibilities Build enterprise-grade Amazon Lex bots from requirements gathering through production deployment. Design high-performing voice and chat conversational experiences. Integrate Amazon Lex with Amazon Connect and AWS serverless services. Analyze production conversations to improve intent recognition, bot performance, and customer experience. Lead a small development team while remaining hands-on with coding, troubleshooting, testing, and optimization. Conversational AI Development Create scalable intent models, custom slot types, prompts, and dialog-management strategies. Optimize natural language understanding performance through continuous tuning based on production traffic and conversation data. Develop multilingual conversational experiences, with English and French experience preferred. Design robust fallback, clarification, interruption, escalation, and error-handling strategies. Apply conversational design and prompt-engineering principles to improve customer interactions. Required Skills and Experience 6 to 10 years of software development experience. Minimum 3 years of hands-on Amazon Lex V2 development experience. Minimum 3 years of experience integrating Amazon Lex with Amazon Connect. Strong experience designing and developing AWS serverless architectures. Experience leading developers while remaining actively involved in technical delivery. AWS Associate-level or Professional-level certification is preferred.
