Site Superintendent – full cycle $120,00 - $155,000 + excellent benefits Calgary, Alberta | Full-Time, Permanent Build Great Projects. Lead Great Teams.
Traugott Building Contractors is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent full cycle projects across $20mn+ commercial, retail, institutional, high rise and mixed-use construction projects. The region spans across Calgary and Southern Alberta.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who takes pride in delivering quality projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll oversee all on-site operations from mobilization through final handover, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
What You'll Do Lead day-to-day site operations from start to finish. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and site logistics. Maintain project schedules and proactively manage risks and delays. Ensure all work meets drawings, specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and hazard assessments. Manage site documentation, progress reporting, and deficiency tracking. Coordinate inspections, commissioning, occupancy requirements, and project close-out. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
What You'll Bring 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years as a Site Superintendent. Proven success delivering commercial, retail, institutional, industrial, residential, or mixed-use projects from mobilization through turnover. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, trade coordination, and Alberta building practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience using Procore and Microsoft Office. Valid Class 5 Driver's License and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Southern and Central Alberta. Preferred: Gold Seal Certification, CSTS 2020, First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform Certification, or equivalent safety credentials.
