About the Role

Service New Brunswick is seeking a Senior Enterprise Strategist to provide strategic leadership, enterprise architecture direction, and technology advisory services with a primary focus on Salesforce-based Customer Experience Management and case management platform solutions across the Government of New Brunswick. This role supports the modernization of digital service delivery by aligning Salesforce platform capabilities, business objectives, information requirements, integration needs, and technology investments to improve outcomes for departments, agencies, partners, and New Brunswickers. The Senior Enterprise Strategist will work with senior leaders, business owners, Salesforce platform owners, technical teams, DevOps resources, and external partners to shape Salesforce platform strategy, promote reuse and standardization, guide solution design, and ensure that Salesforce implementations are sustainable, secure, cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with government priorities.

What You Will Do

•    Develop and implement Salesforce-focused enterprise architecture, technology frameworks, standards, guidelines, and roadmaps for CXM and case management platform solutions. •    Provide strategic advice to business owners, Salesforce platform owners, executives, and Technology Services leadership on Salesforce platform opportunities, risks, investments, licensing considerations, and implementation approaches. •    Lead architecture and solution design for complex Salesforce initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs, integration requirements, security, privacy, compliance, and enterprise architecture principles. •    Identify opportunities to modernize, rationalize, consolidate, or retire legacy applications by leveraging Salesforce capabilities, reusable components, common patterns, and enterprise platform services. •    Collaborate with stakeholders across GNB departments, RHAs, agencies, corporations, OCIO, Salesforce vendors, implementation partners, and other jurisdictions to advance shared approaches and reusable digital solutions. •    Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for onboarding new business lines onto Salesforce and expanding existing Salesforce services to new client groups. •    Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities, release features, industry trends, architecture practices, and platform ecosystem opportunities to inform future direction and investment decisions. •    Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to enterprise architecture, Salesforce, DevOps, and technical teams, including support for recruitment and capability development. •    Communicate complex Salesforce platform, architecture, integration, data, and strategic concepts clearly to varied audiences, including senior leaders, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.

Who You Are

You are a strategic technology leader with deep enterprise architecture experience and strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture patterns, governance, integration, data management, and delivery practices. You are comfortable working in complex environments where business priorities, stakeholder expectations, platform constraints, security requirements, and long-term sustainability must be balanced. You build trust with senior leaders and technical teams, influence decision-making, and help organizations adopt Salesforce solutions that are reusable, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise goals.

Essential Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of architecture and technology strategy experience including 5+ years specializing in Salesforce architecture, CRM/CXM solutions, and enterprise modernization.  •    Must have experience leading large-scale transformations, establishing governance and road maps, and collaborating with senior stakeholders and delivery teams. Subject to the response of the competition, a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Some positions require written and spoken competence in French and English.  Others will require written and spoken competence in English only.  Please state your language capability. 

Assets Qualifications

•    Salesforce certification, training, or equivalent practical experience in Salesforce architecture, administration, development, consulting, integration, or platform governance. •    Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Platform, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, APIs, identity and access management, data migration, reporting, automation, or release management. •    Experience in a public sector, health, social services, or large multi-stakeholder environment. •    Training or certification in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, agile delivery, IT service management, business process modelling, or related disciplines.

Salary: $ 94,146 - $ 113,906 annually – Pay Band 7 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
