Venture Creation Opportunity – Apparel Technology

SEDDI is creating a new company built on technology at the intersection of apparel, physics-based simulation, digital product creation, material intelligence, and AI. The apparel industry is changing faster than most people realize. Online shopping still loses brands money to fit uncertainty and returns — customers can't tell how something will actually look or fit until it arrives. Advances in simulation and AI are opening up entirely new ways to show customers a garment before they buy it, and to design, merchandise, and sell around that. We think the timing is right, and we're looking for the right person to help lead what comes next. Unlike a typical startup, this opportunity comes with a mature technology platform, an experienced engineering team, and years of investment already behind it. The work isn't inventing the technology. It's finding the right market and building a category-defining company around it. The Opportunity

This isn't a traditional executive hire. You'd work closely with SEDDI's leadership to evaluate market opportunities, get in front of customers and strategic partners, sharpen the strategy, and figure out the best path to building a real business. For the right person, this role is expected to grow into Founding CEO of the new venture. What Exists Today

You're not starting from zero: Leading physics-based garment simulation Virtual try-on technology that shows shoppers how a garment will fit and look on them Cloud native digital garment engineering Material and fabric digitization service AI-enhanced visualization Existing industry relationships and commercial experience What You'll Do

Figure out which market opportunities are real and which aren't Build relationships with brands, retailers, manufacturers, and technology partners Validate what customers actually need — and whether we have something they'll pay for Help shape product and go-to-market strategy Explore how digital fit and visualization can cut returns and lift conversion for apparel brands Work on partnerships and capital formation Represent the venture in apparel and technology circles Help define what the company looks like and how it gets there

Who We're Looking For

You see opportunity where others see technology. You might be a founder, a senior operator, a venture builder, or an industry leader with strong relationships across apparel, retail, manufacturing, or fashion technology. What matters most: You know the right people — and they take your calls You've launched or scaled businesses, products, or partnerships before You're comfortable when things aren't fully defined yet You're genuinely curious about what technology can do, not just what it already does Experience in apparel technology, digital product creation, e-commerce, SaaS, AI, 3D, or venture-backed companies is a real plus.
