The Officer, Corporate Partnerships supports the organization's corporate fundraising goals by delivering exceptional stewardship and engagement experiences for corporate partners. This role is responsible for managing Habitat for Humanity Canada's national corporate partner engagement day program, coordinating stewardship activities, and fostering meaningful partner relationships that enhance retention and long-term support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Communications
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for corporate partners, their employees, and local Habitats regarding engagement day scheduling, registration, and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Habitat Canada's corporate partners by providing responsive, professional, and consistent customer service.
- Collaborate with local Habitat staff to coordinate engagement day scheduling and registration, ensuring a consistent and positive participant experience across engagement types and locations.
- Keep the fundraising team informed of engagement day participation, fulfillment activities, and partner engagement opportunities.
Administration
- Track and report on key performance indicators for the national engagement day program to demonstrate impact and support continuous program improvement.
- Gather feedback from key stakeholders, corporate partners, participants, and program users to identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Maintain and update program marketing materials, registration and reporting processes, and corporate partner recognition and benefit offerings.
- Collect, maintain, and communicate information regarding available engagement opportunities across the Habitat network.
- Administer and maintain Habitat Canada's VolunteerHub platform, including user support, program setup, and reporting.
Stewardship
- Manage and execute corporate partner benefits, recognition, engagement, and reporting according to partnership agreements.
- Enter and update donor information, interactions, gifts, stewardship touchpoints and partnership details in the donor database.
- Help develop impact reports, stories, and partnership updates that demonstrate how donor contributions are making a difference.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the field of donor engagement and stewardship or account management.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Fund Development.
- Demonstrated record of problem-solving and priority-setting in a fast paced, complex and evolving environment.
- Effective at developing positive internal stakeholder relations including the ability to influence without authority.
- Ability to prioritize, manage details and execute with excellence.
- Ability to effectively develop strong cross-functional partnerships, evidenced by a track record of teamwork and collegiality.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office and other relevant software programs.
- Empathetic to Habitat’s cause – passion to make a difference.
Working Conditions
Hybrid role. The officer, corporate partnerships works during Habitat Canada’s normal office hours 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and may on occasion be required to attend a partner related event outside of normal office hours
Salary Range: $58,000 - $62,000
