Strategy Manager / Strategy Consultant - Marketing Automation

Hybrid (Toronto HQ – Two days per week in office, the entire team comes together every Tuesday). $120,000-$125,000 base salary, no bonus. Three-stage interview process.

We are seeking a Strategy Manager or Strategy Consultant to join a growing leadership function and play a key role in shaping client strategy, service offerings, and business growth.

As a member of the leadership team, you'll lead and mentor a team of two while working with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from global enterprise organisations to rapidly growing businesses.

Your focus will be on helping clients achieve their strategic marketing objectives through the effective use of modern marketing and customer technologies, including CRM, Marketing Automation, Personalisation, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Business Intelligence, AI, and other digital engagement solutions.

You'll play a pivotal role in defining strategic service offerings, driving client success, and identifying opportunities to expand revenue across the client portfolio. Equally important, you'll build and nurture long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and helping organisations maximise the value of their customer engagement and technology investments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Strategy Consultant, Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager, or Head of Function looking to take the next step into a broader leadership role, with a clear pathway towards Director-level responsibilities in the future.

Responsibilities Define and evolve strategic frameworks, service offerings, and best practices that drive client value, business growth, and market differentiation. Lead client engagements from discovery through delivery, including stakeholder workshops, strategic planning, customer journeys, lifecycle strategies, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives. Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients and internal teams, providing insight-driven recommendations that support business objectives and uncover new growth opportunities. Own the successful delivery of strategic projects, ensuring high-quality outputs, strong governance, performance reporting, and measurable outcomes. Lead, mentor, and develop team members while driving continuous improvement across processes, customer experiences, and strategic capabilities.

Qualifications 3+ years' experience delivering strategic business, customer, marketing, or transformation initiatives within a consulting, agency, or client-facing environment. Strong understanding of customer engagement, marketing technology, CRM, data, and digital transformation, with the ability to develop innovative and commercially focused solutions. Experience designing customer journeys, lifecycle programmes, customer experience strategies, and strategic frameworks that drive measurable business outcomes. Proven ability to lead stakeholder workshops, engage with senior decision-makers, and translate business challenges into clear, actionable recommendations. Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience mentoring team members while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and execution. Customer-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes.
