This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve cost savings, business growth, and sustainability objectives. Responsibilities include developing effective negotiation strategies, delivering measurable business results, and managing annual spend portfolios of $50M-$200M in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a sourcing manager on our sourcing and planning team, your responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Sourcing Strategy:

  • Employ strong knowledge of key industry players, competitors and market dynamics.
  • Effectively develop and lead complex sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance for the relevant spend area
  • Consistently deliver measurable and strategic goals to enable bottom-line and top-line company growth, and corporate social responsibility leadership
  • Develop effective negotiation strategies to enable success Supplier Engagement and Management:
  • Leverage effective business and professional relationships with strategic suppliers and industry players
  • Professionally manage and measure suppliers for continuous performance and improvement Cross-Functional Projects:
  • Proficiently advanced employ program and project management tools and techniques.
  • Independently solve problems and make decisions for primary and strategic execution and tactical issues within the relevant portfolio of projects and or processes.
  • Provide day to day oversight and perform a hands-on execution role Leadership and Teamwork:
  • Effectively motivate and collaborate within their team and across their peer group.
  • Lead using demonstrated and proven experience and the application of best practice procurement skills.
  • Lead cross functional teams.
  • Work within peer group and leadership infrastructure to ensure that best practice and leverage opportunities are delivered.
  • May collaborate with Group procurement manager and or director of procurement

We’d love to hear from people with: Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of sourcing, supplier management, risk management, RFX processes, market analysis, cost modeling, and contract fundamentals. Problem Solving & Business Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and drive effective solutions in dynamic business environments. Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to influence stakeholders across teams and management levels, while fostering collaboration and driving strategic outcomes. Project Management: Skilled at managing multiple priorities, using project management tools and techniques, and delivering results under pressure. Influence & Adaptability: Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to change, and tailor approaches to different stakeholders. Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and align cross-functional teams. Continuous Learning: Naturally curious and committed to expanding knowledge through benchmarking, industry trends, and ongoing professional development. Compensation & Benefits The typical hiring range for this position is $95,500.00 - $129,990.00 CAD annually. Your base pay will reflect the market location and may vary based on your experience, skills, and internal equity.
