Role Description The Shift Supervisor at Store #57772, 168 Great Northern Road, is responsible for leading daily store operations and supporting partners during shifts. This full-time, on-site role in Sault Ste. Marie, ON includes overseeing beverage and food preparation, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to Starbucks standards. The Shift Supervisor coordinates break and task assignments, monitors inventory levels, and assists with cash handling and opening/closing procedures. This role also focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality customer service, resolving customer concerns, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment. The Shift Supervisor provides coaching and feedback to partners, supports training activities, and helps drive store performance and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Demonstrated Supervisory Skills, including leading shifts, delegating tasks, and supporting team performance. Strong Interpersonal Skills to foster a positive, inclusive work environment and build trust with partners. Proven Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally. Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide clear instructions and constructive feedback. Experience in retail, hospitality, or food service environments is an asset. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a fast-paced setting. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic math skills and comfort with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
