Location: Innisfail, Alberta Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into project files to understand scope, estimates, and technical requirements.
- Support the full project lifecycle: from planning through execution to completion.
- Act as a key connector across departments including engineering, design, and procurement.
- Help drive project schedules, track progress, and keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Assist in managing budgets, milestones, and evolving project scope.
- Contribute to change management by evaluating cost and schedule impacts.
- Maintain visibility on materials, drawings, documentation, and critical deliverables.
- Deliver a professional, responsive, and positive experience for clients.
- Support commercial aspects of projects and help ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager role within manufacturing.
- Experience as an Instrumentation Technician or Designer considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals, workflows, and terminology.
- Working knowledge of P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Ability to quickly learn, research, and apply industry best practices in Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Strong documentation habits: organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
