Overview This is a player-coach sales role, not a strategy-from-the-sidelines position. Our CEO drives overall sales strategy; your job is to execute brilliantly, measure everything, and provide data-driven input that shapes strategy on where to pivot, double down, or expand.
Duties and Responsibilities You'll be responsible for developing and closing the biggest sales opportunities in our education and healthcare sectors. You'll lead a lean but growing sales team: an in-house sales rep and sales administrator in Ontario, a commission-based rep in the U.S., and an outsourced BDR team. As we scale, you’ll help bring additional U.S. reps to the team. You’ll also manage our HubSpot pipeline end-to-end, and be the person who knows our conversion rates, forecasts, and ROI.
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth Execute sales strategies across Canada, the U.S., and international markets to drive revenue growth in our core segments: school boards and pediatric rehabilitation centers Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand sales into adjacent markets and channels Track sales performance, forecasts, budgets, and ROI to guide decision-making as well as bring proactive recommendations to the CEO based on what the data tells you
Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and manage our sales team as they sell Guided Hands to smaller school boards, pediatric rehabilitation centers, and families Support the team’s development and success through coaching, accountability, and performance management Collaborate with our outsourced BDR agency to ensure continued pipeline growth
Sales Operations & Analytics Own and optimize HubSpot including pipelines, dashboards, workflows, and reports Analyze sales metrics, conversion rates, and customer trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies that increase performance across the sales pipeline Oversee sales processes and follow-up systems to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Market Development Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts Build relationships with healthcare, education, and accessibility organizations to expand market presence
Customer Experience & Collaboration Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales and post-sales journey. Partner with our Marketing Manager to develop customer success programs, customer engagement initiatives, and upsell opportunities for existing customers Collaborate with marketing and leadership to plan and execute sales campaigns, product launches, and lead generation initiatives Represent ImaginAble Solutions at conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings across Canada and the U.S. Gather customer and market feedback to inform future sales and product strategy
Qualifications & Skills Must-Haves: 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with 2 years of experience managing or leading sales reps A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets, managing a complex sales pipeline, and using data to improve pipeline performance Advanced proficiency in HubSpot - you've built and managed pipelines, dashboards, workflows, and reports Strong coaching and performance management skills Able to travel across Canada and the U.S. for conferences, meetings, and events (valid passport required) Strategic, creative, highly self-motivated, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a rapidly evolving environment Highly metrics- and mission-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with empathy, compassion, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities A positive, can-do attitude with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset - you're comfortable executing, not just directing
Strong Assets: A bachelor's degree in business, health sciences, kinesiology, or a related field is an asset Experience in assistive technology, medical devices, or hardware products, especially at a startup or scale-up environment Experience selling to school boards, healthcare organizations, or other institutional buyers with longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Familiarity with international market expansion and reseller partnerships
