This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while leading Operators and support staff. The Supervisor is accountable for shift performance (OEE, quality, safety), training, and compliance with all operational standards. The role collaborates with the full management team to support plant performance and continuous improvement.
THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU
Leadership & People Management
Ensure KPI targets (OEE, quality, safety, cost) Supervise Operators and cleaning personnel during the afternoon shift Ensure safety compliance and enforce company policies Provide coaching, training, and skills development Maintain communication with the full management team
Operational Management Oversee machines and production operations Support troubleshooting and downtime response Manage changeovers and production flow Inspect maintenance PMs to ensure completion and compliance Cover operator lunch breaks and as required Replace operators during vacations or absences when needed Quality & Compliance
Ensure quality standards and tests are followed Support investigations and corrective actions Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety rules THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education
High school diploma required Technical or leadership training is an asset Knowledge
Manufacturing processes and production systems KPI tracking (OEE, quality, safety) Basic computer skills (Excel, Microsoft tools) Preventive maintenance programs (PMs) and inspection methods Skills and Attitudes
Integrity, respect, and professionalism. Self-sufficiency and sense of responsibility. Teamwork and leadership. A taste for challenges. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Strong training and coaching abilities. Fast learning skills Reporting & Documentation
Complete shift reports and KPIs Maintain training and workforce records WORKING CONDITIONS
