About the role
Project Context: The objective is to demonstrate the ability of distribution tools built on the Genesis platform (EIS) to interact with a large language model (LLM) or agentic AI in a real-world data collection context for generating insurance quotes. The targeted process is auto insurance quotes in Quebec for the Insurance brand. You will contribute to key initiatives aimed at stabilizing, standardizing, and strengthening the application foundations. You will support, advise, and influence managers and project teams in developing strategies and defining the IT architecture that meets business needs.
Responsibilities Support, advise, and influence IT and Business managers, and project managers in developing strategies Act as a solutions architect, collaborating with other architects and experts to ensure all solutions comply with operational processes and meet business needs through the agreed-upon quality of service Rigorously develop the solution architecture: design and build solutions that best meet business needs and are aligned with the strategy and roadmaps Develop architectural documents and maintain up-to-date architecture repositories Influence business (business and IT) directions Develop transition, coexistence, conversion, and offloading strategies Lead cost evaluations of initiatives Serve on various committees and represent the IT department in different bodies Apply current norms and standards for design Compliant solutions that respect the guidelines of the client Group
Requirements Desired Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent 15+ years of experience in a similar role Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively explain complex technological concepts in a way that is appropriate for diverse audiences (executive communications). Ability to lead a team of architects: business, solutions, infrastructure, etc. Advanced intermediate level of English proficiency Proficiency in one or more architectural frameworks and Archimate notation (an asset) Knowledge of the ACORD standard (an asset) English proficiency level: Intermediate
The following will be considered assets: Knowledge of AI concepts and tools Knowledge of Genesis/Amber (software package from the EIS vendor) Knowledge of DGAG (Auto solutions)
