Role Description This contract role is for an Information Technology Project Manager based in Kitchener, ON in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work from home flexibility. The IT Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT initiatives related to M&A and technology integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring project objectives are aligned with client business goals. The role involves regular stakeholder communication, preparing status reports, managing dependencies, and supporting change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, and support informed decision-making. Candidates should possess Program Management and Project Planning skills to manage multiple initiatives, define scope, and structure project milestones. Candidates should possess Information Technology knowledge, particularly in systems integration, infrastructure, and application implementation. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate meetings, and present clear project updates. Experience managing IT projects in M&A or complex transformation environments is highly beneficial. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are an asset. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, by having high sense of ownership, initiative and accountability.
