We are seeking a Japanese / English Bilingual Assistant Manager to join our freight forwarding team in Mississauga. This is a hands-on role that combines freight forwarding operations with branch administration and management support. The primary responsibility is managing Air and Ocean Export Operations, while providing support for Air & Ocean Import and LTL Export operations as needed. As a small branch, this position also assists the Branch Manager with daily operations, compliance, and office management.

Japanese / English Bilingual Assistant Manager Responsibilities: Coordinate Air Export and Ocean Export shipments from booking to delivery. Prepare shipping and customs documentation. Communicate with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and vendors. Support Air & Ocean Import and LTL Export operations when required. Assist the Branch Manager with daily branch operations. Support workplace safety, vehicle management, and regulatory compliance (including Transport Canada requirements). Ensure efficient operations while providing excellent customer service.

Japanese / English Bilingual Assistant Manager Qualifications: Fluent in both English and Japanese (spoken and written) is required. Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding operations experience. Strong experience in Air & Ocean Export Operations is required. Knowledge of import operations is an asset. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
