Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA) is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, remote/virtual position. The incumbent may be based anywhere within Atlantic Canada, with responsibilities covering the entire region. ABOUT THE ATLANTIC CANADA AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE ASSOCIATION: The Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA) is a collaborative SME-focused organization representing the interests of the aerospace, defence, and security industries in Atlantic Canada. ACADA is comprised of approximately 225+ industry members and organizations across Atlantic Canada. ACADA works collaboratively with industry members, provincial and federal government agencies, and other key stakeholders to facilitate strategic industry development on behalf of the region while promoting the Atlantic Canada brand locally, nationally, and internationally. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager will be responsible for promoting, implementing and coordinating ACADA programs and projects. Their work will focus on the successful development and delivery of programs that serve ACADA members across all four Atlantic provinces, and on building and maintaining strong relationships with ACADA member companies throughout the region. The responsibilities of the Project Manager include (but are not limited to): Establishing an annual action/implementation plan for ACADA programs and initiatives Preparing project status and progress reports for management and stakeholders Promoting value of programming/projects and recruiting participants Implementing strategies and projects to enhance ACADA's value and competitiveness Developing plans to address gaps, track and monitor progress, and support the team in the implementation of projects Project planning, scheduling, marketing, recruitment, reporting, and all related tasks associated with the successful management and execution of various initiatives Designing and delivering educational programming (e.g., workshops, webinars, briefings, and training resources) to keep members informed on topics relevant to the aerospace, defence, and security industry Participating in and attending industry events across Atlantic Canada to support members and the broader industry Participating as a member of the ACADA team by contributing to various projects in our annual workplan, as needed WHAT YOU BRING: Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Experience in business or project management, manufacturing/operations, continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, industrial/process engineering, and/or quality standards. Strong client, member, and stakeholder relationship management skills. Demonstrated project management experience; Project Management Certification considered an asset. Technologically savvy, with strong MS Office skills and confidence using AI and digital productivity tools. Experience developing training, educational programming, or knowledge-sharing initiatives considered an asset. Experience in the Aerospace, Defence and Security sector considered an asset. Experience managing federally or provincially funded projects considered an asset. Leadership experience in business transformation, continuous improvement, productivity, quality standards, or process excellence considered an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingualism preferred. Reliable internet and access to a vehicle are required. Willingness to travel throughout Atlantic Canada.
